Ascent for Salesforce and FinancialForce Accounting delivers comprehensive ERP solution in the cloud
We recently announced that customer, All Traffic Solutions, has deployed Ascent for Salesforce and Certinia Accounting via AppExchange 2 for a complete Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Built using Force.com, the enterprise cloud computing platform, Ascent for Salesforce and Certinia Accounting are immediately available for test drive and deployment on AppExchange 2 at https://www.salesforce.com/appexchange/ .
Not only is All Traffic benefiting from ERP in the cloud, but they have developed their own HAAS solution maximising the benefits they get from developing a cloud computing strategy using the Force.com cloud platform model. Scott Johnson, co-founder of All Traffic Solutions said: “Having received an amazing response to a recently introduced web-based product line, we needed an enterprise solution that could scale easily, adapt quickly and provide instant awareness across the company.
We identified pre-integrated applications on Force.com that are well positioned to fully meet our business needs. Being able to select top providers for key portions of our process and have them work as one is something you just don’t get with any other ERP strategy. Ascent for Salesforce incorporates many enterprise functions such as sales order fulfillment, purchase orders, inventory management, master planning, production work orders and RF bar code scanning, and bar code printing capabilities, to name a few.
Certinia.com develops online cloud accounting solutions built natively on the Force.com platform. Centralizing business systems on Force.com will ensure seamless business processes from order and customer management, and accounting. Customers love adding real-time financials, all in the cloud with Certinia Accounting, and they want to bring that same benefit to more functional areas of their businesses. With cloud apps, end users can take a customized approach to ERP and have the ability to quickly tailor the solution to their specific needs. All this without the set-up and cost issues usually associated with such large enterprise-wide IT projects.
