Certinia named an Accelerator in the 2025 Nucleus Research SMB ERP Technology Value Matrix
Damian Trzebunia-Niebies leads Product Marketing at Certinia, where he is responsible for shaping the go-to-market strategy and communicating the value of Certinia’s solutions. Here, he discusses Certinia’s recent recognition in the 2025 Nucleus Research SMB ERP Technology Value Matrix and what it means for service-centric organizations.
The role of ERP is changing. It’s no longer enough to be a system of record. Today’s services organizations need systems of action that drive efficiency and intelligent decision-making.
That’s why we’re pleased to share that Certinia has been named an “Accelerator” in the 2025 Nucleus Research SMB ERP Technology Value Matrix. The report evaluates ERP vendors on both functionality and usability, and its findings confirm what we’re seeing every day: the market is moving toward AI-driven automation and unified platforms.
Our position as an Accelerator is a direct reflection of our focus on the needs of services-driven organizations, especially those in the small business and mid-market segments. Certinia is built on the Salesforce platform, which allows us to deliver a connected experience across the entire customer journey—from sales and delivery to finance and customer success. This approach dramatically reduces risk by creating a single source of truth for workflows and automation, and eliminating the need for brittle, custom-built integrations. It gives emerging and mid-market organizations a flexible, feature-rich, out-of-the-box solution to fast-track their way to higher margins and revenue growth.
We believe delivering certainty means continuously improving our solutions. The Nucleus report highlights several recent enhancements to our Financial Management Cloud offering that do just that:
- Smarter Accounts Receivable: We recently introduced new mass action capabilities so finance teams can process multiple cash receipts at once, speeding up collections and reducing manual work.
- A More Agile Close Process: New close playbooks in the General Ledger provide a structured checklist to simplify and standardize period-end closing activities, creating more transparency and ensuring compliance.
- Automated Bank Reconciliation: Through our partnership with Envestnet, we’ve automated the import of bank statements, allowing for keyword recognition and direct generation of cash entries to streamline reconciliation.
- Collaborative Reporting: We added new report-level commentary features to Report Builder, embedding insights directly within financial reports to improve team communication.
Our commitment to innovation is especially seen in our work as an early mover in Salesforce’s Agentforce Partner Network. We are actively developing a new generation of AI agents designed to automate complex service work that will free up teams to focus on strategic, high-value work and make smarter, data-driven decisions.
Ultimately, this recognition validates what happens when services organizations replace operational friction with a single source of truth: teams stop chasing data and start delivering customer value. And that is our mission in action—providing the business certainty that empowers people to do their best work.
