FinancialForce wins through as Software Provider of the Year at the 2016 DOFscars
The UK summers’ have always been temperamental but the sun shone brightly on us yesterday as Certinia proudly collected a 2016 DOFscar, also known as a Director of Finance award, for Financial Software Provider of the Year.
The awards are in their second year and are hosted by Ten Alps Media, the people behind Director of Finance, a magazine and website aimed to advise finance professionals on the most up to date issues faced by major corporations and leading finance directors.
The event recognises the seasoned professionals and rising stars from across the financial management profession. It champions the most innovative, vigorous and dynamic teams and individuals who have exceeded expectations.
Held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London, we waited with baited breath as our category approached and finally our name was announced as the winner. It’s a fantastic accolade to win for our work over the last year. Unfortunately we didn’t get to thank our mum and dad, director, stylist, pet cat or whoever else (no speeches allowed!), and we weren’t dressed in Dior, but it was just as exciting as the real Oscars (or nearly!).
The judging panel looked to recognise the success of new or current products, strategy or campaign launches; unique aspects of product or strategy; growth of product and revenue; functionality and design; and the quality of service with testimonials from FDs.
We celebrated into the early hours and we look forward to more award wins in 2016!
