IDC: FinancialForce Financial Management Spring 16 improves customer productivity
Earlier this month, the Certinia Financial Management Spring 16 release made quite a splash. This IDC report takes a look at the release from their point of view.
In their report on the release, they noted that the newest release of Financial Management improves customer productivity through several key product improvements:
- Entry sheet configuration
- Related content panels (RCPs)
- Improved accounting functionality
These improvements bring users powerful, unmatched personalization features through end user form configuration and collaboration capabilities using a ‘clicks not code’ approach. There is no programming necessary and anyone in the finance department will be able to start with the basic input screen templates and customize them by dragging and dropping elements to fit the requirements of processes executed by a specific department.
“We believe that customers will realize immediate benefits from the ability to configure entry sheets. The drag-and-drop quality is one of the primary selling points, eliminating the need to enlist a programmer to adjust entry forms. Similarly, the transaction reconciliation accounting features will reduce headaches for Certinia customers.” – IDC
