In this Code of Corporate Responsibility, we describe important business principles we have adopted and embrace at Certinia:
Trust. At Certinia, trust is our number one value. We recognize our responsibility to maintain the trust of our customers, employees, shareholders and regulators, as well as the communities where we operate. We must ensure we uphold that trust by acting with the highest ethics and integrity in everything we do.
Security. We understand that security, availability and application processing integrity are critical for our customers. Our cloud must be safe, secure, and worthy to accept and manage the treasures of information our customers put in it. We are dedicated to providing industry-leading security for our customers’ data assets through our Information Security Program, and within our products.
Privacy and Data Protection. We are committed to respecting the privacy of our customers, employees and others with whom we do business. As a company operating in many jurisdictions around the world, we are required to comply with many privacy and data protection laws, and we are committed to doing so.
Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining. We uphold the right to freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. We will not tolerate any form of forced or compulsory labour, or child labour, and we have a zero-tolerance policy toward modern slavery and human trafficking of any kind.
Human Rights and Dignity. We support and respect the protection of human rights. We treat one another with dignity, respect and professionalism. We will not tolerate discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate behaviour in our workplace.
Non-Retaliation. We ask everyone to speak up when they have questions or concerns. We will promptly investigate all reports of suspected ethics violations by Certinia staff, and prohibit retaliation of any kind against anyone that raises an issue or concern in good faith.
Anti-Corruption. We will work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery. Paying and receiving bribes and engaging in corrupt activities are unacceptable and are not tolerated at Certinia. We are committed to complying with all applicable anti–bribery and anti–corruption laws, including, for example, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act.
Transparency and Fair Competition. We are transparent when conducting business and compete fairly in the marketplace. All agreements must be in writing, be duly executed, and must accurately reflect all agreed terms.
Compliance with Laws. We are committed to complying with all applicable laws in the countries where we operate, including all applicable export laws and regulations.
Environment. We are committed to limiting our impact on the environment and support initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.
Community Impact. We address social causes in our communities and improve the lives of others by harnessing the talents, passions, and generosity of Certinia employees, partners, and customers. As part of Certinia4Good, Certinia employees are permitted and encouraged to devote three working days per year to volunteer activities.
