FinancialForce earns Great Place to Work in UK award…5th year running
We are pleased and proud to be ranked once more as one of the best workplaces in the UK for the fifth year running. We celebrated at the awards ceremony last week which saw us take home two trophies and we can’t thank our employees enough. It’s really down to each and every one of you that our culture is not only kept alive and well but is thriving at Certinia.
The rankings are compiled using the most widely used employee engagement survey in the world, along with a culture audit. Together these measure the employee voice and experience and evaluate the organisation’s culture – the leadership and HR practices that create the employee experience, and which is critical for attracting and retaining talent.
Along with receiving the award for ranking once more in the medium size business category, we also took home a Laureate award which recognises our five-year achievement of being placed. This is a huge achievement given that year on year there are more entries as the awards increase in popularity and the employers become more sophisticated in their approach to employee engagement.
The fact that we have managed to place in the rankings over the last five years shows that we are successfully managing to maintain our strong culture despite our rapid growth. Culture has always been a core strategic focus for us since we started out in 2009. Who better to acknowledge this than our employee base?
We strive to provide a positive working environment which is transparent and supportive to our employees. We work hard on our training and development and ensure all staff has a path for career growth. Feedback is actively encouraged, not only through this annual survey, but through informal channels too, and we take it seriously.
It is sometimes difficult to maintain the same culture as we grow. It is the responsibility of the entire company to drive this which is why we want to send heartfelt thanks to each and every member of the team for helping us achieve this award and keep our company a great place to work.
